The faded grey plastic insert in my grille had a bit of a treat today as I took it out and painted it black. I can do a detailed description if anyone is interested as I took pics at each step. Quick & easy to do and makes a big difference to the front of my car.

You sprayed black paint on the grille but you need a proper badge on your bonnet, isn't it?

I still have the proper badge but swapped it out for this flat one so I can sleep at night. They can swap back in 30 seconds.

Thought about an avantgarde grill? Updates the W202 nicely

did you use plastic primer b4 you sprayed black paint?
if not, your black paint will peel off

I quite like that, almost as much as the AV grill, infact if you could get some more horizontal chrome strips to put on the bare slats then I think it could look even better than a AV grill (all my opinion of course), the chrome slats are available separetly and "were" stupidly cheap if I remomber correctly if you wanted to do this. I can look for the Pt. No. later on EPC if interested.

Yes please Andy - thank you :)
