Hello! My W202 as developed a strange thing: let's say i'm driving on 4 gear (manual) and put on N the idle gets to 1000 rpms and then runs up to 1550 and stay there till i put a gear or after ~2 minutes of idle...
 
Thank's! No! Its a 4 "in line" :D. And as a simple solution or do i have to change the trotle body?
 
Nope just the throttle spring, which u can get from the dealer for cheap.
 
Hello! I went do the dealership today and the show me (on the computer) that the spring wasnt sold apart! I have to buy the trothelbody... Another thing: the problem only happends when the engine is hot and the car is on the move. I tried with the car stoped and nothing... The rev goes up and down normally!!!

On my 1997 (build date 96) W202 C230 kompressor the throttle spring snapped, and i had no problem getting a replacement from MB, but mine was a preface lift car with a mechanical throttle. If yours is a post 97 model i believe it will have a electrically operated throttle so that might be the reason why.
But i do have my doubts that is your problem.
 
My car is from April 1997. One question: does the accelaration module has to be "programed"?
 
Hello! another thing: yesterday i disconnect the baterry for 30 minutes. Go for a drive and the car run run normally. Today put it to work and the problem came back!!!
 
Yours might be an electronic throttle then... and by disconnecting the battery you reset it. If the problem still came back then you might have another problem...
 
Hello! I went to a dealer and came with a lambda sensor problem. Buy a Bosch unit anda the problem is still there!!! :mad:
 
Hello! I did a little experience: change the MAF. The idle problem is solved! But NOW i have a new problem: when the car is in N and do a hard accelaration the engine look like a boxer one. If i do a gentel accelaration the engine revs normally... :wallbash:
PS: I miss my JAP'S...
 
News: i went to a Bosch dealer and came out with 6 erros. The guy didnt new that my car is running on LPG. At first he said that i had a leak on the intake manifold or anything related... Then i said that the car is running on LPG he said that i had a problem with the spark plugs. Recomend to change to a set of Bosch LPG...
 
Hello! As my car is running on LPG i went to the guy that install the sytem. Explain the problem of the car and he connect the laptop to the car. Go for a drive a the result was a very poor calibration on the injeccion (40% less than normal). Run the car for aroud 100 km abd so far is normall (idle inc.)
 
Problem solved: new MAF!!!
 
Jesus! WTF!!!! Now I have a new problem: when the car is on petrol until it get's to 2800 rpm´s shakes like a drum!!!! After it pass that marc runs fine. On LPG work normally :wallbash:.
 
Came from a friend of mine with this:
a) P0300;
b) P0301;
c) P0209.
Mercedes rules right? :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:
 
Put "new" injectors" but the problem is still there!!! :wallbash::wallbash:
Now i have a P08... Gear box sensor!!!
