Alright peeps.
Got an ongoing problem with the rear window on my c240.
I had a snapped cable on the mechanism that chewed everything up so i bought a fresh one and replaced it. Nice easy ppttering on job. Took 15 minutes, happy days.
Did the relearn procedure............
This is where i lose the will to live.
Randomly the window drops on its own, usually on the motorway when im pottering along on my own, wind suddenly rushing in at 70mph isnt pleasant lol.
So i have done the relearn procedure 10-15 times now and its still the same. Randomly drops all the way or even more annoyingly it will drop a couple mill 3 or 4 times in a journey. Don't get me wrong though.... the dog loves it when it happens but its driving me crackers.
Am i missing something with the relean, do you have to do all 4 windows in a set order?
Do you need someone in the back doing the operations on the button?
Do you need to be wearing the right coloured undies while mars is in conjunction with pluto??????
Any help would be appreciated as i dont want to risk breaking the door handle again stripping the door card off to unplug the motor...
