W203 boot spoiler

Saw a nice tasteful boot spoiler on a AMG C55 today.

I expect they are an arm and a leg from MB

Has anyone got one (or similar) spare or know where they may be sourced at a reasonable cost?

Try calling around a few dealer parts counters and ask if they have one on the shelf.

I got an original AMG spoiler for mine and one for another forum member a few years ago, and got an absolute bargain. One dealer had two AMG and two "Sport" spoilers in 744 Brilliant Silver, which they'd had on the shelf for over a year, and was happy to do a deal.

The best approach is to find a dealer that may have some as opposed to ordering new from MB. Agree, it's not easy. As Bobby stated, he managed to find two and let me know on here so that's how I got hold of mine.

I've since found a website that has been useful for finding parts 'on the shelf', it can also be used to price up for new parts:

Definitely worth a try if you have a part number, they come prepainted so you may not find it in your colour but worth a try (I can't remember how the paint code works I recall that it's a suffix to the normal part number).

I believe it's:

A203 790 0788 9xxx (xxx = paint code, e.g. 744 brilliant silver)

If you're going to try Parts Reunited, give it a go with just A203 790 0788

Hmmm, there are two versions of the spoiler, and like you say one of them is quite large as opposed to being a tiny lip.

The one that Bobby & I have is definitely the smaller lip spoiler. I may still have the box or papers somewhere - will try to dig it out.

Yes, they are just attached with tape (which is already on the spoiler)

The AMG type A-Avantgarde and I have is an AMG item - a very rare accessory on pre-facelift W203, and standard on the C55 - it's subtle, slim and relatively straight/horizontal when viewed from the rear.

The other type is fitted to the Facelift Sport models - it's more obvious, deep, and curved when viewed from the rear.
