Hi been having lots of issues with our coupe, air in fuel, 'O' rings replaced and 'Saddle tank' issue followed. Filled tank and it seemed ok. 4 days and around 150 miles later....Drove to a garage, stopped and on return, 2 mins later failed to start. Reserve light on ( 3/4 tank of fuel) checked found no fuel after high pressure pump. Any ideas????
thanks Martin

It needs plugging in firstly and some hp pump tests.

The hp pump is probably the cause or a leaking off injector.

Hi thanks for the reply.
The problems started with me changing the fuel filter and putting in some injector cleaner, on advice from a mechanic due to a slight 'misfire' on tick over when very cold (ambient temp around 2-4 oC.)
The fuel tank was on reserve, I changed the filter and cutting a long story short diagnosed that a rubbish filter had no 'run in' machined into the top so I damaged the O ring. I replaced the filter and O ring and after bleeding out the car ran. I had put 10 litres of fuel in and the gauge showed 1/4 full but reserve light was still on. Ran for 5 mins then cut out, found saddle tank empty on outlet side (off side ?), all diesel in near side? transferred some diesel and drove to fill up. 100 miles later car would nor restart after being turned off for 1 min. I am going to try to find where diesel is and isn't. When it failed to restart I checked the outlet from the HP pump and it hissed but only dribbled fuel. Any help would be much appreciated

I would say the HP pump is the issue. Plug it in and do the HP pump test.
