W203 Front Lights

I see from the recent facelift W203 there seems to be a change in the lens of the front lights from a kinda frosted look to clear glass.

Are the new versions interchangable with the old ones as they look so much better.

Yes, autoclass.net sells them for $450 U.S. To me they look cheap, sort of like the Altezza tail lights that became popular for a while, at least in the U.S. If you are going to go through that much trouble (and it is trouble, the bumper has to come off), you might as well get bi-xenons. They look a lot better and off course they are much brighter.

Is it difficult to take the bumper off the W203 as I need to change a fog lamp lens that is well and truly shattered by a stone?
