I wish to adjust my headlight alignment using the adjustment screws on the headlight unit... does anybody know which one does the height and which does the left/right movement? I dont want to try it until i know for definate.

Thanks

Alignement

Have you tried placing it faced to a wall at night and moving the screws so you can figure it out?

yes a little but it did'nt seem to move so i chickened out and thought i might find a definate answer on here before i do more... however i have searched and cant find anything..

yes i can control it from inside the car, but the right headlight is higher than the left and i need to lower just the one individual light...

Its a right hand drive... There are two adjustment screws one towards the top middle and one towards the edge on the top...

The top middle alters the height and the end one tilts it in or out, there is some interaction between the two if the adjustment is a long way out.

Park the car facing a wall, mark the center of the the height as it is now, then you can aim for the same center but lower

Tomorrow I'll take a look at my 2003 w203 and let you know if can find it for you.

But problably you will get you problem solved tonight, this is the forum for it

A MOT garage will do it for you. It will probably only cost you a £5 cash. I would not guess it.
