w203 need help with comand

First Post from a lurker. Bought a w203, 2002 52 plate c180k on Friday last.

Now it has a cd player connected to steering wheel etc. I would like to buy a comand of about this model A203 827 52 42.

I'm quite happy with dash uninstall etc, but what am I going to need once i get behind the dash? Is it literally a plug and play or do `i need a new adapter or can i take original to bits etc.

All help is welcome, and thanks to anyone who replies for their time.
