w203 OEM parts

Hi guys,

Had my W203 C220 for a while now and there are some bits and peices that id quite like to upgrade/modify. Can you straight swap some parts from newer models?

Parts i'd quite like to change to give the car a more up to date look are:

Steering wheel
Radio
climate controls
headlights

Looking at pictures online there are some parts which look like they would fit etc but just looking to double check before making any purchases.

My background is in VWs so i don't have the knowledge with MBs so just looking for some help.

Welcome.

It would help to know the age of your car, there was a facelift of the W203 around 2004/ 05

The later models have clear headlights and these can be retro- fitted to earlier models, I am not sure if the facelift climate control panel will fit but you can certainly change the original manual controls for a pre facelift digital version although you do not get any more features just the digital display.

I am sure you will get more information from other members, it would also be helpful to know where you are based so you can receive recommendations for suitable suppliers etc as some parts may need setting up or coding via Star (MB computer system)
