W204.9
I need to have a rear fog light on both sides.
Driver's side rear light have LEDs that light up as fog light, passenger's side doesn't have LEDs in the top ("fog") part.
I replaced passanger's light cluster to european version (with LEDs in it). All works fine but the fog light.
What might be the problem? Wiring, fuse or maybe some settings in the computer?
Help please :(

It would need to be coded using STAR/Xentry if at all possible

Why do you need to have two rear fog lamps?

I need to have fog light on both sides to pass an MOT test in my country.
Fog light on the right side is not allowed (it can be on the left side or on both).

I'm not happy if it have to be coded.

Which county are you in? Did you import the car from the UK?

Mercedes sell cars in your country? In which case they will have a code for that country to make their cars legal there. That's not to say you might not have to get a replacement rear light assembly

I have W204 facelift imported from UK.
I live in Poland.
I am sure that MB would have a proper code but I'm trying to reduce the total costs of adaptations and going to main dealer won't be cheap.
I found a small garage that specializes at mercedes and should have star diagnosis. Hopefully he will be able to sort it out.

If they're good they should be able to code the cluster for kph as well?

Coding definitely but wiring should be there. Just might need the correct rear light unit with the LEDs for the fog function

I have correct rear light unit with LEDs for the fog function.

Yes, but not for the Polish market as you bought the car in the UK...

He has already fitted a European version LH rear cluster...
