W204 headlights

Thanks for the extra information.

Earlier in the thread people were saying that they had gotten the orientation of the bulbs the wrong way around when installing them. I was wondering if there was a way of determining if I had mine the right way around without a trial-and-error test, e.g. taking the new bulbs out and inserting them with a different orientation. To be frank, I am not sure what they are talking about. All I know is that I replaced to dipped headlight bulbs recently and the light that gets cast when the W204 has dipped beams only is terrible. I was also wondering if I need to adjust them too. But the car passed the MOT, so I presume there is nothing wrong with the angle of the beams. There is nothing wrong with the bulbs. I got the 200% brighter ones (Halfords own-brand) and the light is still bad. So, I thought it might be an orientation problem.

I don't know what to you... the bulbs only fit one way. I had a W204 for 5 years.
