W204 tyre wear

Hi guys, I've been away from MBs for a while but have recently been looking at getting a W204 coupe.

Almost every 204 that I've done an MOT check on has had advisories for front tyre wear.
Is there a problem with (uneven) tyre wear on W204s?
Or do people who own this model just not bother checking their tyres?

I've recently bought a w204 coupe, and my front tires had cracks in the sidewall.
From my own research I haven't seen any reports of people complaining about uneven front wear on the MB forum, so it may be due to the previous owners.

I've had 2 tyre failures on Goodyear Eagle F1 Assyms on my S204, rear inner sidewall complete failure and front outer sidewall small leak, but that's in about 12 years ownership. Not had uneven wear though.
