Don't know where they're selling these cars to :dk:. We've been over here for three weeks now driving thru ;) Arizona, Utah, Nevada and now Cali and could count on our collective fingers how many Mercs we've seen.

Perhaps they export some of them? Maybe its true they all drive F-150 pickups. ;) The Hottest Selling Cars In America If true its no wonder MB want to add one to their lineup----Even if its really a Nissan made in Thailand!

The American obsession with the pickup truck started back in the last century when environmental legislation forced the big gas guzzler saloons off the road. Pickup trucks being "commercial vehicles " were exempt so you could still have your big V8 engine. The love affair kindled back then has never died apparently.

It's mildly amusing when you do come across a FF Range Rover in the USA that it actually looks like a mid size 4x4 over there.

Find the money and you find European cars, it's a status symbol to drive European.

Lots in Florida when we were there earlier this year. E classes and S classes but mostly ML's as the Americans love an SUV.
