My car came with one sub woofer in passenger side foot well.

Is it advisable to install a second sub woofer driver side foot well (there is empty compartment) or not required? Will it improve the sound?

Or should I get something like below

The human ear can't identify the source of a very low bass sound. For this reason I only ever fitted one subwoofer, and it does not matter where in the car it's fitted (left/right, front/rear) etc.

The usual places are in the boot, Or under the panel shelf, or under one of the front seats (flat subwoofer). Anywhere where you can hide it.

No idea if there's anything to gain by having two subwoofers in the car (unless they cover different ranges), someone else might know.
