W206 Overhead Console Rattle

Hi all,

I have a W206 2022 Estate which develops a very annoying rattle from the overhead console every once in a while. I haven’t found any guide on how to access/lower the console to get a better look and hopefully solve the issue.

Can anyone advise how to go about this? Any tooling required?

Do all the overhead lights work ? I had a bulb fall apart and bits were rattling about inside.

Hi Tricky,

Everything seems to be working fine which is confusing me even more. I see on the older model people mentioned a small fan was rattling so I wondered if it might be that?
