W207 e350 rear light issue

Hi

Has anybody experienced an issue with the outer rear lights on there w207 coupe

only on the right hand side the indicator has stopped working but instead of the indicator flashing the brake lights flash instead I have removed the light and checked the connector into the light it seems ok I have checked for corrosion but there isn't any on the plug going into the light unit

would this happen if the leds have failed in the indicator or would it be an electrical issue on the car

Problem fixed needed new rear light unit indicator must have failed in the old unit put new unit in and hey presto indicator working again
