I would not want an AMG without real AMG wheels

Whatever those wheels are, they are not factory fit as those style were not an option on the facelifted W208 CLK. I'm still very sceptical about its authenticity. No shots of the engine bay

Well spotted, looking back at all the pics there are no signs of the
orthopaedic controls, weren't they standard on 55's?

Def no AMG initials on the instrument cluster

I seem to remember that RHD 208 CLK55 was not in the standard price list .. but you could order one with the AMG bits that you want/need.

This CLK does not have the nappa leather, the orthopeadic seats, the AMG steering wheel, or the AMG instrument cluster.

Does this car have a similar intrigue to the SL60 that Mark300SL looked at? Yes I know he looked at an SL60, but there were lots of niggly or suispect things that did not seem right??

They just came in the normal Elegance/Avantgarde trim levels, even the steeing wheels were normal:
