W208 Multi Contour Seats

Hi,

My multi contour seats are strange. When you first start the vehicle you can set the various support options but within a couple of minutes you can no longer change them. Also after a while, the seats seem to go down, as in back to no adjustments made.

Any ideas? I can't hear any leaks etc

Hi,
Check the supply pipes underneath first, then take the back of the seats of and check the pipes are secure as the feed pipe can become disconnected from the side bolsters, when there is a leak in the system the pump detects this and shuts down to stop it self from burning out.
Seat air supply can be seen under the very front of the seat the backs of the seats are secured via two Phillips screws on the very bottom of the seat panel.

Well on the connection to the front of the seat seat, there is a slight leak on the drivers side. I'll look to resolve this but getting the pipe back on the connector is going to be tricky. Any suggestions?

The passenger side is fine but this goes down over time. Do the seats get constant top up from the pump then to keep them inflated? I thought once they were up, they would stay up.

Connection sorted but the seats stop working and lose their air if you play with them too much. Although I've also got a central locking issue, where my boot keeps on popping open and not opening / locking sporadically.

Since changing PSE pump to resolve another locking issue, the seats work properly.
