CLK 270 W209
After i fixed all my recent problems with my CLK 270CDI i have a new one now.
I recently replaced the water pump for the windshield washer, this is the last thing i did and after this i have a permanent error which says.
-washer fluid level error and Check coolant level.
-one morning i observe that i don't have coolant in the expansion tank(the day before i had coolant). I fill up with distilled water and run. It was 30 degrees outside and i forced the car a little when starting from a traffic light. When i park my car at the Mercedes dealership to buy something for the car.... i observe hot water and steam coming from beneath the car (radiator area). in 10 minutes it stopped. I tap up with distilled water again and go home.
-Next morning again...no coolant. (all this time i had the 2 errors on the screen)I tap again and go to service. The mechanic has a look and says that the problem is the Radiator that due to high pressure failed around the area where is the plastic joining. You can see water droping there even if the engine is around 80 degrees.
The mechanic says that this happened because i have a minor fissure in my cylinder head and because i forced the car because of the fissure it crated pressure and poped the radiator in that area.
Any of you experienced this?
Am I a victim of the Valea Radiator problem?
Can coolant enter the auto-gearbox?
I think that the fissure in my cylinder head is a little bit exaggerated....can't this happen because of a blocked thermostat? He didn't even looked at it...
