W210 E300 Loss of Power After 5/10 Seconds?

Hi All,

Bought a second E300 but with problems, there is no power (basically limp mode), however when you restart the car and immediately floor it, you have the full power for around 5 to 10 seconds.

Any ideas?

In case anyone has the same problems as above, it has been fixed with a second hand MAF
