What is the real story behind the hydraulic hose?

Otherwise... The cheapest one I've seen. Although, there is obviously a good reason for this.

To be fair as a breaker it's worth 2k plus. I reckon it's rotten!!!!!!

hydraulics leak on those back ends for a pastime - so known problem, but usually they are so rusty that the hose / brackets etc have to be cut off. so ive heard.

Don't really matter at that price, the car is worth that as a breaker any day of the week.

If not, an easy repair and peanut motoring

It needs somebody to take a look to see how rusty it is. Only two owners is a good sign, but there's no mention of service history. It's still MOT'd for six months, so six months ago it was probably OK. If there are no warning lights on, and everything works, it's a bargain. The seller does not SEEM to be a dealer masquerading as a private seller, or at least, not on eBay. If I didn't need- and have - the estate, I'd go down and take a look at that price.

That is cheap. I reckon he'd take 1k. But... Realistically I want the facelift and I am prepared to pay more for the right car.

Ah.... Silly me, I just looked at his feedback as a seller.

OK, he's a dealer, so liable within reason for any faults that develop within six months. Any attempt to have you sign away your legal rights would probably not stand up, but you might have difficulty enforcing them if push came to shove.

Keith, do you mean this particular car had six previous owners, or the one identified by Krimat2005? If it's this one, barge poles spring to mind.... If not, the car is still worth a look; everything else I said holds good, but as he's a dealer you'd need to check it very carefully....

He's claiming 1 previous owner in the advert...! Bit dodgy.

If you check that registration it does come back as two owners.

have a look at his business address details, based out of Thailand but the car is in Salisbury, something smells fishy here....

If you search c12amg you will see the add that I bought the car from which means at least two owners plus the guy that bought it from me 3 years ago so that makes 3 owners so how it's listed with only one previous owner is very strange, like I said it had 6 owners when I bought it.

This car was featured in Auto Express pitched against a BMW M5 and a jaguar , can't remember any more about it , think I owned it for about 8 months, definitely had 6 owners on the v5 when bought it
