Hey lads I'm looking to fit a rear electric blind to my 55 but it has the Bose system in the shelf so is it possible to fit the rear blind given the size and positioning of the speakers?

you'll need a new parcel shelf with the cutout for rear blind if you don't want to gut your existing shelf?
my mechanic fitted my power rearblind 2 years ago, daem that's an cool option
makes the car very special with all power options

these are often sold on german fleabay
search for mercedes w210 heckrollo - elheckrollo - sonnenrollo, there's tons of them

good luck

i believe it took my MB-guru approx 5-6 hrs IIRC?
he had to remove the inner C-pillar panels, drivers chair beneath the carpet for grounding the powerloom.
remove bottom panels running the loom
cutting the new shelf for speakerholes, backseat latches, fitting 3rd brakelight etc etc

it took him some time to do this for me.
I know how much he loves working on my car, doing special mods

Ah there's no prob with the work I can most of it myself I just need to know it it actually possible to do if car has Bose speakers

a few members here has cut their own shelves.
you need to take everything apart and see how the shelve is shaped from the under side
you'll need a strong boxcutter or a power blade to cut the hole for blind, it won't be easy.
better do this when you're sober
good luck

Found a donor car with everything I need "DELIGHTED" is an understatement......
