I am new to this forum and currently in the market for a W211 E55,

Miliege below 90k

Colour: Black

Age: 2004-2005

3 or below owners

I have seen this link on here but i am unable to contact him.

I have seen one on auto trader for £14,450 but this is over my budget as my budget is around 9k

Graham on here was.selling a nice one. Could be had for 10.1k or similar I thought. You'll find it on the classified section but be quick as it might be going to WBAC in next day or so.

Hi I saw this vehicle on ebay the realised it is Melanite Black and I want Obsidian black unfortunately. If it was Obsidian black i would have purchased it.

Melanite black is a stunning colour, and faaaaaaaaar less common than obsidian black. Have you read the 'brutus project thread on here' that is Melanite black.

Grahams car looks like an excellent example. Be sure you do plenty of research one these beasts so you don't get caught out.

Grahams car is a great example of what I want it is ideal it's just I got my mind set on a obsidian black

What you need then is an Obsidian Black R129 SL500....I having a wobble

Only joking....but shame Graham's car isn't the right colour as seems a really nice example. Is it not worth looking at as it seems a nice colour. Might be better than you think unless you have already seen that course before.

A good one that's not your fave colour will be better than a so so car in your fave colour. Condition is all.

Yea I get what you’re saying but obsidian Black is one of my best colours for a car, I do like the gun metal colour that the W211 E63 comes in but unfortunately I can’t find that colour on the E55, Silver is just tooo common, blue I really don’t like on a E55 for some reason, on top of that I am not too desperate to get one asap, so I don’t mind waiting until a good one comes up, I was really annoyed that Grahams one wasn’t Obsidian black because that car was ideal in every way apart from the colour, I suppose it’s just my taste.
