W211 Elegance or Avantgarde?

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between an 02 w211 E270 cdi AG bumper and the Elegance 03 w211 E270 cdi.

My recollection is that it was the grill that was different - 4 vs 5 horizontal slats.

There was a difference under bumper with the AG having a horizontal slat between the fog lights.

I'm used to fueling a 6.0 V12, a 3.2 V6 is going to appear cheaper than walking for me.

Would you say that Harman Kardon is worth having or is the standard stereo good enough, I'm not after volume just quality.

EDIT- Another questions, was Distronic available from launch?

Just noticed your location. I always thought petrol was almost free over there? Genuine question
