W211 keyless go issues

OK. I've got a strange one and I can't find anyone else that has had the same before.

The keyless go doesn't work for locking or unlocking any of the doors or the filler cap. It does however work for the boot and for keyless starting, and locking and unlocking are just fine with the fob. I don't think it's likely that all the door handles have failed, so is there a fuse somewhere or a wiring loop that I can look at?

Any ideas are gratefully received.

If you place the key close to the door handle and it doesn't lock and unlock on the button/rear of the handle, your door handle needs replacing. It can happen to all 4. 2 of mine need renewing. About £200 each colour matched and they are a straight swap, no coding required.

Mines suffering the same symptoms as the OP. started off passenger side not working, then both sides.

definitely not the handles, STAR points to both keyless control units.

have ordered some replacements to see if they resolve the issue
