W211 Lumbar support knob

Hi.
My W211 2003 has manually adjusted lumbar support , however its not working , the knob spins pretty much freely and nothing happens , I take it the teeth on the knob are stripped.

Is there any chance someone could help me out and direct me how to remove the knob , cant see any screws or clips

Although No answers but thought I would update the thread just incase someone who knows his seats can help..

I removed the adjuster knob and the back cover of the driver seat and that reveals a little black box on the side where the adjuster attached to and a cable that runs all the way down to the bottom of the seat back and its attached to some sort of plate.

Now when I turn the adjuster it just spins , the cable doesn't move , cable is fine .

The seat adjuster black box thingy is riveted into the seat frame...
