hello, i will start soon as a private hire driver and i think this is the car that best suits the profile for taxi. my budget is quite limited from 7500 to 8500 so for this money usually i find 2009 2010 model, so i would please need your advice, as i am not an expert in this model or cars generally.
First of all what are the most common problems?
(I read here that the first models had problems with injectors, can i check somehow if they were changed?)
What to check specially at this model? the millage will be around 120 000 to 160 000, the automatic gearbox needs any maintenance around 150k? i read something about atf and oil change, although i don't know really for what atf stands for.
also the millage can be checked somehow different then what the MOT says? because i am sure who had the car can fix back the miles just before the MOT
i find weird that for the same money, for example 8500 you can find 160k and also model with 90k
is the suspension the same regardless of the mode?l (avantgarde, sport edition, normal)
is it a car expensive to maintain on higher millage? what to check if it was changed?
