My W212 is in for its first service today and I'd reported one issue with it that I wanted looked at: In cold conditions (i.e. <5c) the front window lifts are extremely slow and, if you open either of the windows partially then pull the switch to raise it, the window will sometimes start to lift before stopping and opening fully.

The dealer has just called to tell me that there is a bulletin covering this which states that the problem is caused by the window lift sensing excessive force, and the fix entails changing the window glass for a revised part and reprogramming the window control module(s). They've therefore ordered the parts and will book the car in again to fit them when it's convenient to me.

I'll update this thread when the work's been done, but will probably have to wait until next winter to find out if it's fixed the problem!
