W220 Pullman

Get it. Sell something.

Seems strange 2004 model but the command display is pre 2002 facelift

they took too long to build it !:D

And it has the pre facelift N/A engine, although facelift rear lights.

I could well be wrong, but I believe all the 220 Pullmans had pre facelift Nav and switch gear. IIRC, the 600 versions all had the earlier N/A engine, too.

Lovely motor. Been for sale for a good while, but I guess it is a very niche market.

For similar the money, though, I would probably go for the armoured W126 560SEL which has been up for sale in London for yonks.
Both are equally unnecessary, but so cool!

A dangerous sentiment as it could actually be done between the CL, 325 and savings. Was speaking to someone in the sauna the other day (not in a dodgy way...) who is working short-term close protection contracts for Arabs and Russians, and given what they charge per day for two CP personnel, two drivers, a Bentley Arnage and a third gen Range Rover I reckon it could make its money back fairly quickly.

Did they do it as a 500 as well?

Yup a 500 was available.
I'm not certain if any other standard MB engines were available.

The 444 bhp 6.3 AMG conversion was available for the 5.8 N/A 600 engine, too.
