w220 s500 PSE VACUUM PUMP

Hi Everyone,

I have a S500L 2000 (W220).

After starting the vehicle, the PSE pump continues to operate without stopping the Movie.
I listened carefully to hearing the sound from the air tube, but I couldn't hear the sound of the air blowing.
Why does the PSE VACUUM PUMP continue to operate without stopping?

Try unplugging the electrical connections on the vacuum pump for 15 minutes to see if that will reset anything.

Don’t shut the boot while the pump is disconnected.

Check that the electrical connections are clean too.

Don’t let it keep running continuously like that or it may over heat and damage the pump.

You have quite possibly got a leak. Don't forget the pump controls many systems...locks, EGR, climate, possibly seats...

I was lucky enough to find the cause.
The cause of the front passenger seat lumbar switch was wrong.
Therefore, switching the switch to 0 will no longer operate the pump.
Thanks to the advice, I was able to find the cause.
