Hi,

I have this W245 and bought a Parking sensor kit with 8 sensors (4 front + 4 rear).

I need some help to install it.

I have installed before in my other cars, but off course, Mercedes is not a regular car.

I went to the trunk and everything is solid closed, I see no "holes" to pull the wires from the sensor, back inside the car... I will also have to disassemble everything to install the Parking sensor ECU.

So, I would like some help to dismantle everything, anybody?

There is a hole to bring the wires through on the rear. Open the side panel in the boot. Look down on the floor behind the light cluster you will see a plastic plug. Remove that.

When you say:

"Open the side panel"...

You mean, the small compartment to store the aid-kit+triangle? Or the whole side panel?

Is there any chance you could post a picture?

Well on uk cars it is on the drivers side, not the one with the first aid and triangle the other one. So open the other storage compartment lid. The back part of the compartment can be folded down too so you can then see the rear of the cluster and the floor where the hole is.

Well guys,

I'm not sure if I understood right, but I'll make a search and try to find out this hole.

As soon as I get news, I'll post here!

Thanks.
