W638/2 Vito CDi V Klasse - Headliner

Morning all,

I have searched through a lot of posts and still not bee able to find my answer, so I have to do my first post!!

On the headliner is metal clips that push into the roof and attach the headliner, I took my car to a local garage to have some electrical work done and they broke a few off these metal pins/ clips (Not to sure what to call them!), I went to the local Mercedes garage and they were not that interested in helping me (Think it was more hassle than the ££ they will make).

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some from? or what they are called so I can do my own internet search or go back to the Mercedes garage with a name, and hopefully be more reactive!

Sorry again, if this has already been posted, but I have not been able to find the answer!

Hi Codger,

I think it might be!! The ones I have in mine are metal and have to be pushed into the headliner (Then very hard to remove!), and then you push it into the roof.

Well I have a part number, that I can take at least to Mercedes then and see what they look like, after I get a few!!

Cheers for the help, where did you get them diagrams, I have searched the internet for a schematic like that too, but found nothing (but could have been using the wrong lingo!!)

For future knowledge I found this site form the help of Codger!!

Lining side and ceiling for Mercedes 638.294 (V 200CDI V220CDI V200 V230 V280)

But did not have what I needed!! lol
