Wastegate Solenoid A Supercharger

Hello

My engine management light recently came on whilst overtaking. Upon investigation the following fault description was unveiled....

"Wastegate Solenoid A Supercharger"

In laymans terms, what does this mean? Is it expensive to repair. Is it easy DIY to repair.

It will be the auxillary air flap unit on the side of the air filter box.

Can this be fixed. Are they cheap. Is it in the relams of DIY?
