Water in Drivers footwell

Hi All
I have just bought a 350 slk 2004 model R171 and it has a wet patch in the drivers side footwell I have cleaned all the drains which where ok to be fair. But it does not seem to be drying out. Am I missing something?. I keep hearing about drains behind the drivers wheel arch panel but cannot see anything that looks like a drain..

Check the drain underneath the battery ?

All the drains seem clean.. Its a very odd wet patch. Like someone has poured a cup of water in one area. I dry it up but just seems to re appear
