Weird fault tonight.

Hi,

Set off from car park tonight, all was ok, then the car seemed to surge for a split second, did it a couple of times. was like I pressed the throttle, nothing, then it dropped a gear and accelerated hard. I wasnt even pressing the pedal that much. Did it two or three times then went bck to normal.

I'd drop that into the dealer to check. Could be a bit naughty doing that in heavy traffic unexpectedly.

Does your car have Distronic plus?
Mine does some weird and wonderful things sometimes because of it.

Sounds a bit like TPS to me (only cause one of mine did similar once) but, as said above, better get it checked out as it could be a major problem driving in town.
