Not normally, you'll need to retard the timing by about 5 degrees, which negates the saving made by the diesel.

If you remove the head gaskets, that will increase the compression ratio a little. If you file about quarter of an inch of the top of the engine blocks, that will raise it a bit more, which is better.

A couple of decent magnets round the fuel line will line up the energy atoms, which work better lined up.

Go for it!

I'm confused, it doesn't seem to start now, shall I torch it and claim on my insurance? What do people think?

The higher compression ratio makes the engine harder to turn over, and it sounds like your starter motor is a bit tired. Additional volts will help. Add another battery or two, technically in series, and all will be well.

Remember to always wear gloves when handling volts.

1640.. why?

and why are you googling my name?

I never googled your name!! Why would I bother?

Just asking for your SATs score as this is the most common method of getting into college (University?) in the USA , and there are lots of stats regarding these.

Interesting score. I assume that was on the new 2400 scale? Which college did you say that you attend, and which subject are you reading?

I'm sure it will be economics.

It'll be cheaper to take the bus to school/college than running the Benz (see, I can sizzle like the rest of 'em).

You might even get to meet some girls on it too !

Just watch out if Sandra Bullock is driving the bus
