i know i have a slight leak on the roadster lid on my 107 and have ordered a replacement, however this cannot explain why the carpets in the back of the car are soaked, anyone else had the problem and solved it? boot seal maybe or something else? given the overall condition of my car i doubt its leaking through the bodywork! or so i hope

You want to check 2 things. Take the carpets out in the boot and see if they are wet. You normally get water coming in from the rear lights, the seals fail, or from the boot lid seal. The water channels through to under the back seats and the floor well.

Second thing to check is around the storage compartment of the cabro hood. You will get water after leaking through the storage compartment down the rear 3/4 panel and then under the seat into the footwell.
