All.. I have used numerous car detailing products before and have never ever had such difficulty getting anything off like this. I followed the instructions, applied a thin layer and it took me an hour to get this off!

Even Daniel san would have struggled!

Something wrong here, I use the same one and it’s very easy to apply...

You and everyone else who seems to have used it. It comes as a hard wax. Not a ‘paste’ as described. Is that correct?

Yeah it’s a solid wax, you rub the applicator pad on it and then apply to car?

Yeah that is how mine looks, maybe you are putting too much on?

It was a very thin layer. It reminded me of back in the days when I first used Zymol carnauba wax. Put it this way, it was so much work I met my step goals on the Garmin in that hour. LOL

Did you prep the surface first?? Or applied straight after washing? Cos thats what I did.

Straight after washing! Maybe it is to do with temp because I did it in summer

Was trying to avoid shelling out £55 for the Autoglym HD wax as I read good things about the Bilt .... disappointed

What are you using to apply it and how long are you leaving it on for?

I usually use a sponge pad and go over small areas in a light circular movement. I also tend to do 2 panels at a time. For example, start with a rear wing, then the rear door. By the time I've coated the door then the wing is ready for buffing then, once that's done, buff the door and move on to the next couple of panels.

ETA: The only time I don't do it this way is when I'm using the "Soft 99 King of Gloss" stuff, which has a longer curing time.

I use the sponge provided. Followed the instructions as it states to wet the sponge. I leave it on for about 5 mins. It has clearly dried. Then when I went to ‘buff it off’ i almost lost my right arm...

Maybe it’s subjective, I wouldn’t say I can buff it off without a decent amount of force, but I thought that was normal for paste waxes?

True but I have never had to use this much effort. I also watched some folks on youtube use this product and it was much easier for them!

I have this product along with HD wax plus others.

I suspect it could be due to the weather, there is a lot of damp in the air recently even when using a garage, unless it’s heated of course.

Applying and buffing off wax and or polish at this time of year is problematic even on dry days.

I cannot imagine the product being faulty.

Thanks. I use other products in this weather and have no issues at all. I did email bilt and they responded that it didnt sound right so offered to send another [emoji1303]

I'd say maybe give it a bit less time to cure and try again, also ensure it really is a thin layer.

I have over applied or waxes have baked on and been a right b!tch to buff off! haha
