hi all

I have been looking for a w208 and w209 3.2 for weeks now and getting quite fed up due to amount of rust they suffer 2002-2003.

Now am thinking of having a C class instead as I have seen one with fsh and low mileage 82k on a 2002 for £2k

what are they like to drive? the one ive seen is in Rochdale 70 miles away and just don't want to be disappointed again

which would you have a c class or a clk w208

I have had both, the C class Coupe really needs to be a 320 facelift which I found to be a great car, it also becomes a hatchback which is very handy.
Out of the two I would prefer the 320 CLK, not a hatchback but the rear seats fold down. Petrol wise they are pretty much the same.
I found them to be good reliable cars. Although I prefer the CLKs.

I had a C class, now have a CLK (X). Both are great cars, both of mine were only 2 previous owners with full history. I prefer the looks of the CLK but the four doors of the saloon are more practical if you carry passengers. In the case of your 2, I would say drive them both then a matter of personal preference.

Clk every time for me.
Late 208 ag or late 209. You will need to accept the rust on the 208.
If you go for the 203 then go for the facelift even if it means adjusting your budget.
