Before I took delivery of my 2010 212 Maundrells fitted;

- new discs all round
- new pads all round
- new wipers front & rear

I then took it BSG and had;

- full STAR diagnostics
- new plugs
- new gearbox oil & filter

Other than that I've taken it to Wiltshire, taken it to Normandy and have got through a fair amount of Autoglym & Meguiars products.

I always thought the car sat nose down and **** up , i didnt want to fit a complete set of lowering springs so i removed the "options" spacers from the top of the rear springs which brought the car down by 20mm making it almost level which i think suits it better.

For a car that i told the wife i wouldnt be messing with it has had :

Retrofitted paddle shift
Retrofitted a reversing camera
Steering wheel retrim
Carbon shifter
19" Alloys
LED`s everywhere
Updated maps
Fancy door lock pins as the original plastic ones were a embarrassment for such an expensive car
Retrofitted an auto dimming RVM

Maintenance things to do next week :

New front discs and pads
Four wheel alignment
Chipex the white spots on the black bonnet.

Then i can leave the bloody thing alone and crack on with the bikes.

That's a definite "NO" then.

Car looks very nice. I like a black car and I like the CLS but that's a whole load of metal to keep nice and shiny.

I like the sounds of those door pins. Any pics?

And I agree, they are more befitting of a Ford Cortina

FYI for anybody doing something similar, it's a brute force grab it, and pull job. No special MB tools required. Just ham fists.

Wee tour of the Dynavin. Might not be to everybody's taste, but it's fully touchscreen does everything I want it to do, and it sounds great.

Fully detailed.

As Clint Eastwood said in Gran Torino

"Ain't she pretty"

(Allow me a little self indulgence)
