What On Earth !

What's wrong with rat style? I was gonna do that to my golf! :D

Great description on the advert!

ENGINE: Yep it has one of them

BRAKES: Yep we have some!

BODYWORK: Removed face lift front end for an older crap looking one, de-wipered front and back (never rains here), smothered washer jets, ariel, side indicators and rear handle. Flared rear arches, retrimed roof, one off roof rack with a Raleigh Tomahawk, beer barrel and rat think on (changes daily), loads of stickers and stencils (again change daily) some rust here and there.

INTERIOR: Custom Interior consisting off, full cream leather, fosters indicator stalks, 50+, KY, condom dispenser, lots of general crap, fruit machine heater controls and lights, beaded seat covers, more general crap, custom one off clocks, a full 8'' chain steering wheel, retrimed roof lining, mini bar, optics and lava lamp (of course!),

ICE: State of the art multi media set up consisting off, Atari 2600 woody, Ghetto blaster, 18'' Colour TV with built in ariel, CB, some knackered old amps and speakers

SECURITY: The way it looks – who would want to steal this?

I remember seeing that in Retro Cars Mag, that kit in the back is OTT, but then looks like they dont take themselves at all seriously thats for sure!. At a grand its gotta be a cheap bit of fun for someone (not me tho)

This guy is aving a laugh at his own car - he must be permanently high - hence the ridiculous £1k asking price. If I was him , I'd be selling the gramaphone and similarly aged TV, and then using those proceeds to pay to have it removed!

That's not a proper rat...far too tidy, and where's the matt black paint applied with a stick?

You're certainly describing what I think of as a rat bike. Never heard (or thought) of a rat car before but I guess that one's fairly amusing.

I saw the story of how this was formed on another forum. It literally was a knackered old astra dumped with a knackered engine then they er, tarted it up a bit!

Done a few in my time, not quite with a stick (proper prep, masking up etc etc) but it's still satin black from a rattle can :D

It's got an Atari 2600 in the boot - happy memories !!! :bannana:
