What to look for CLK55 AMG W209

Need a little here please fellow Merc lovers .

I'm after a CLK55 Cabrio, and going to start looking at a few soon .

After a quick search , I have narrowed down the major things to look for that are particular to the CLK55 AMG (apart from obvious) :

Smooth gear changes from low speed due to faulty gearbox - glycol/rad problem.
Torque converter - checking by smooth gear changes/noises ?
Clicking noise from behind dash board when starting - due to faulty A/C.
Brakes/discs - due to price of new items.
Spark plug change - due to price .
Make sure all electrics work .
Check engine movement - due to faulty engine mounts.

Please feel free to add/subtract anything I've missed .

I wouldn't worry about spark plug cost - it's only £200 at most or do it yourself for half that.

Discs/pads all round £800ish . Tyres will be the same again.

Condition of the roof and operation you want to triple-check.
