W123 200 auto. It was going to be broken and I rescued it so that it could live for another year. It was made in 1980 and made it to 1998 and covered over 230,000 miles.

I had been on the look out for one - viewed umpteen rotten 280s - as some 5 years earlier I used to see one in Aberdeen on the Nigg Brae in winter, and it looked a wonderful thing to be travelling in. Snug!

My first Merc 190E 2.6 ..Sadly had to be cut into a soft top to get me out following a RTA.

Replaced it with another 2.6 which I still have and get out now and then .
My daily car is a C32 AMG.

My first was a Triumph 2.5 PI ...Who remembers that old girl!!??

The first was an Austin Allagro, complete with square steering wheel. Being the first it had a hard life, several crashes, including ripping out the gear box and sump "off roading" down a track....

My first was the 220/8 I learned to drive , and passed my test , in - my dad , who had it from new , subsequently gave it to me when he replaced it with a W123 250 .

The first car I bought with my own money was my 1957 Ponton 219 . I bought the car in 1982 and still have it .

1985 (C plate) W123 200 Auto Saloon, bought it in 89, not realy a youngsters car, but I was never one to follow the crowd. Wish I still had it.

The first I ever had was a 1984 A reg 500SEC in gloss black with Rial alloys and a D&W bodykit. I had it for about 5 and a half years before rust set in but it was great fun while it lasted.

My dad had a 190e when I was younger(18),he let me borrow it when I was taking the girlfriend out to a restaurant etc,I loved that car.

I tend to prefer older Mercedes cars but due to a tight budget and needing a car quick, I ended up with a newer model.

My first Mercedes and current car is a 1996 e230,it amazes me how well it drives considering it's a few years old. It would probably have been nicer as an automatic but it seemed such a nice car that I had to have it.
