does a wheel need to be balanced again if it's taken from one car and fitted to another? It would be with the same tyre, etc. Just simply swapping from one car to another.

no - if you think about it, they took no notice of the car it was fitted to when they balanced it did they?

thanks guys. I was pretty sure you didnt need to, just double checking.

no,but it might need balancing as it wears.............ie...........if it was balanced when it was new...........and now the tread is 1/2 way down it is possible its needs balancing again, especially if you have a wife that constantly clips kerbs

You might want to get your torque wrench out and check what they've tightened the bolts to. Ive never known them to get it right for me!

I queried them about the torque settings and they knew what it should be. used them plenty of times before and always do the job ok..surprising for a kwik fit!

I always insist on torquing my own wheels irrespective of who fits them. 81 ft lbs and I know it. :D
