Wheel bolt's advice

Hi, I have a W208 (CLK 230K) with standard factory alloys I have just purchased some genuine AMG 17" stagered wheels, just wondered if the wheel bolts will be ok or will i need new ones, any advice much app.

You will need longer ones-And don't forget the locks

Ummmm ....

I upgraded from standard 17's to a staggered AMG setup and my bolts were fine .... measured the amount of bolt that comes through the wheel into the hub and it was plenty ....

Same on my old 320 cab , went from 16's to staggered AMG 17's and the bolts were fine too ....

As long as the AMG wheels came off a CLK then you should be fine with the bolts you have.

AFAIK most MB alloy wheel bolts are the same (except between different models - eg ML or S-class instead of your 208 CLK, etc?)

I'd measure the amount of thread protruding on both wheels and decide from that personally (as Howard did )
