Wheel cleaner

I accept that the wheel cleaner used in hand carwash places can potentially cause wheel damage. Due to get mine powder coated - should I tell the Lithuanian (I know they are Lithuanian as I asked them @Darrell ) carwash guys and gals not to use wheel cleaner in future or just ensure it is thoroughly hosed off? (The place I use is very good - would do it myself but arthritis in my hands and legs disagrees!)

Use the Waves franchise at your local Tesco, they use only Autoglym products! Quality depends on the people though - the lads at Tenterden are excellent, but at the Ashford Park Farm site used once never again!
