Hi I got them done by polished alloys in Dundonald and he charged me £160 that involved acid bath stripping then soda blasting and then primed painted and laquered and baked good deal I thought

My alloys could certainly do with some work - anyone care to recommend someone in the Maidenhead or surrouding areas?

Would love to pay £160 for all corners.. what's it likely to cost?

All the quotes I am getting are around £300 - 340 + Vat for a full set of 18' alloys (from businesses in Surrey / Sussex). Be surprised if Berkshire is any different. I had the full set done just over 4 years ago - they started peeling around the edges about 12 months ago (probably most stressed from tyre changes) and then the pressure washer has helped that along a bit too.:fail

I must admit I didn't think that you could do a good recondition on a set of wheels in a day - but what do I know?

£160 is certainly a good price! i got the same set of wheels that could also do with a refurb. can you post up pics when you get them on your w211?

Hi yes no problems I plan to get the tyres fitted on satutday so will post some pics once fitted, these are the original wheels on my 211 just u think im upgrading them

Stunning price.
I had 4 x split rims blasted and enamelled and baked on - it cost a week to go thru the process (4 working days, 5th to refit tyres and balance) and £75 per wheel VAT on top.

£160 and all done in a day - sounds interesting!

Nice job, looking good.
