My ML 350 Blue Effeciency needs a new rear right wheel speed sensor. Will any make do or does it have to be the genuine article??

Cheers Rob

Buy a genuine MB part, or you are very likely to have to do the job again within a very short time .. they are not particularly expensive

I had no issue with a Delphi sensor in my 204 (couldn't get an MB one quick enough), but you're right, the genuine article is cheap enough to use that in preference to aftermarket.

Febi worked on my w211

The factory-fitted ones on my car were made by ATE.

Febi on the wife’s w246, works like a charm and has worked for ages, no moving parts so what can go wrong ?

Not sure why people think this as Mercedes don't make the part themselves.

As Markjay says Ate would be a good choice.

Buying a cheap speed sensor on eBay is not the same as buying from MB , never suggested MB made them , just that the quality is better than a random low price eBay item.

Febi will be fine.
