Wheeler Dealers NOW!!

Gawd, hasn't Brewer gotten a lot FATTER for this series !!

I'm watching and waiting on the comments on here!

Canny wait!

I'm on it too...turned off spookes as wasn't really watching.

Missed the start but saw the SL he bought for 6900 was that euros or £'s?

Well, it's confirmed that Germans have absolutely no taste in aftermarket mods.

What's it gonna be worth considering it's LHD

Not a lot.

There was a link on here today with some lovely looking ones for 8K - 10K RHD.

I would not pay in washers for that.

Yeah, I thought it was pricey, but love those wheels. Not the steering wheel though.... lol. And that animation with Mike looking out the window of the Merc as it goes along - what a laugh!!!

mangoman i have a set of those wheels they'd look great on your motor...

Love the way they discount the labour cost to zero.....:D

All that work for £1000................... he would go bust

They most probably would when I get another one......

I see you have a '62 Impala - I used to have a '65 Bel-air with a '283'. It only had the 2 speed auto, but 1st. gear did 65mph.! Loved it!

Getting back to tonight, I thought the job on the Soft Top was really good. And the Mexican hats not bad either..... Still prefer the others though, sorry.

Ciao.

I also think if that had been stood for 10 years they would have fixed an awful lot more than what they showed.

Either way I reckon I could make £1000 with a LOT less risk than buying a 25 year old LHD mercedes :) :)

great cars the yanks i have a few. im about to put those wheels on my CE and see how the look, they normally sit on my custom VW T4...

I watched it, and noticed 2 things.

1. Mike Brewer has been eating ALL the pies lol. The bloke's doubled in size!

2. It's as rubbish as ever. Someone (not Ed China alone) has put some real effort to get that car to its sell-on state. As with all the cars they feature there's probably £5000 worth of labour put into getting them that way.

These programmes are so cack. This one didn't even show or mention the engine. And Brewer stated this is the best merc engine ever. I have the W123 230 programme where he said, guess what............... this is the best merc engine ever! And, in that programme, the engine was never touched and rust was never mentioned!!!!

I actually enjoy watching Wheeler Dealers - but it's awful :D

i Enjoyed it. However, dissapointed thought that they didnt show more work getting done. A lot of time was wasted (IMHO) on the buying stuff - they should have shown more stuff on cleaning/detailing it ready for sale, and maybe where mike got the wheels from etc.

Is that a hole i can see in the passenger door card? apart from the wheel, nothing was really mentioned about the interior itself, that surely needed work? Ed never mentioned the re-fitment of the wheel bearings either - that could be dodgy if not done right.

The work on the roof was pretty good though. Best bit of the episode.

its all pretty fake though (that german seller MUST have been one of the crew putting on a dodgy accent LOL).... they must also be doing two "buyers" now aswell.

but entertaining for an hour. Looking forward to the next episode next week.
