A big thank you to all of the team at " Wheels In Motion " Chesham.

First class service in the diagnosis and adjusting of the wheels and steering of the famed " Steer, Drift left " Mercedes issue.

On work finishing was " TOLD " to bring vehicle straight back if not satisfied.

Many thanks to Tony for ringing me in the evening and arranging for vehicle to be seen in perfect time.

Take note..... This is what you call " SERVICE " :thumb::thumb:

Regards

Mark.

I'm not too sure, but they do have e thread on here, or somone may be able to help with that question,

You know what..... I will display the problem, the reason and the solution in 15min. Member might think that's a bit cocky but the solution ( outside ) of the MB parameters is very obvious, the problem long term suffers have is MB cannot deviate from the rule book.... The rule book does not accommodate the Uk roads..... Rules broken.

^ makes me think of the renegade Lotus Group phrase 'change the rules'. Speaking of which I don't see you on the Lotus forum (seloc), or not officially at least. I'm sure your knowledge would be very welcome there as they're very driver focused people.

Nah, I know you'll get to the bottom of it PDQ; I have my suspicions on what the main issue is but want expert confirmation, plus any other problems that are being masked.

However, my car is never easy...just ask poor old Olly :D

Sorry guys for jumping in.

Dear wheels-inmotion
What do these 'repairs' / adjustments cost usually?
I too still have the usual MB probs pulling but already had wheels checked twice (Hunter / Guildford tyres) after replacements of bits bushes etc.

I also have an issue of a 'rubbing' sound when coasting slowly. Worse some days although it seems only I can hear / feel it.
I suspected pads rubbing on new discs but I have checked and not found any run out. The alternative is bearings but cant feel anything spinning wheels while car is jacked.
Would this be something you could also check and verify for me ?
And lastly where is your best nearest centre to me near Camberley / Bagshot.
Thanks

For the short distance you are from WIM, I'd go there. At least you know you're getting the best.

Is there just the one branch Cheshire ? from memory. I thought they had a network of places. oops.

I am a member of Seloc..... My daily chariot is a Lotus Esprit Turbo ( mint ) i must add... Time is my nemesis so i have little affordable time for the club.

I will schedule some time for Seloc because i would enjoy a Lotus meet at wim :)
